NASCAR Nationwide Series @ Texas Motor Speedway: The Kyle Busch Show

Kyle Busch celebrating his 4th win in 6 attempts in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Photo credit to  MSN/Fox Sports.

Cautions, tire strategies, a Cup-series regular filled night in Texas, a Sideshow and bad-fast speeds can all be  used to describe the Friday Night NASCAR Nationwide series race at Texas Motor Speedway. Kyle Busch surprised no one when he took the checkered flag for the fourth time in 6 attempts this year. I run down the pros and cons of Cup-series regulars racing in Nationwide (and Camping World Trucks) and generally sound off after the break.

PlayStation Meeting 2013: What We Know.

Sony's PlayStation meeting on February 20th, 2013 in New York was an invitation-only event that broke records for the most continuous streams of an electronic event. The event brought out big time developers, such as Square Enix, Activision and Ubisoft as well as PlayStation World Wide Studios partners' Santa Monica Studios, Guerrilla Games and Sucker Punch. The press were also in attendance, from GameSpot, Spike's GameTrailersTV and even media royalty like Adam Sessler. And then there were the bloggers and the game industry experts, like former Gears of War developer-turned Lamborghini aficionado Cliff Bleszinski and former Treyarch community manager Josh Olin.

What's On TV: Fall 2012 Review Part 1

So, friends often ask me "Flim, what do you think of <fill in the show>?" and "Flim, if I were to start watching a procedural cop drama, which one would you recommend?" and I have to spend a lot of time explaining the different shows, why they are different, good, bad or what have you. Actually, that is a lie. I don't have friends, but I often ask myself these questions, and more, while I am in the shower pretending I have friends and find I have trouble answering myself. And, that is a lie, too. I don't have a shower. I sit in a pail with an old sponge and dirty water from the squeegee bucket at the gas station. But I do get all the pine-scented fragrance I want, and they're shaped like little trees! It helps offset the stink of the mayonnaise packets I use as shaving cream and hair conditioner.

ANYHOW, I thought I would offer my late, late, late opinions on the Fall 2012 television season. Since some shows have yet to premiere, I may be prone to just lying and making shit up. We'll see.

Hit the jump for the "I don't care about your opinions and you watch too much TV anyways. You are going to be old, alone and fat."

The Best Video Game Trailers (So Far)

Much like film and television, video games utilize trailers to capture the feeling of the game in a short period of time. For a true video game fan, a play through trailer or presentation such as at E3 is by far superior, but to generate hype and to convey the feeling and emotion of the game, or even to just simply make the announcement of it existing, the trailer is required.

Hit the jump for all the bloody, fast and grunt-punting hype you can handle.
